NEW! We offer monthly zoom trainings related to the asylum and work authorization forms, as well as additional asylum-related topics. The topics and current schedule can be viewed on the Sign-Up Genius link below.
PRO SE ASYLUM AND TPS CLINICS: We provide guidance to recent immigrants in the completion of their asylum, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and work authorization applications, in our pro se (self-representation) legal clinics. Lawyers, lay people, and translators (Spanish, French, Arabic, and Wolof) are needed. Training will be provided. Clinics will take place at Plymouth Church, 75 West Hicks Street, Brooklyn.
LEGAL TRIAGE: On Thursday from 12-3 at Metro Baptist Church, 410 W. 40th Street, we run a legal triage table to answer questions, review papers, and provide simple services (e.g., change of address).
